I went to the graveyard at Witt Springs, Arkansas yesterday on a whim. Daylight was fading. That is where my great great great grandmother lies buried. There is cold and then there is old graveyard cold.

It was great for the many years it lasted but we were all forced to leave. Replaced by a dude ranch with dude horses that walk slowly through the adjacent @goethe state forest. The exciting years of top level combined driving competitions are over. @blackprong

For many years, i have met up with an eclectic group of carriage drivers near williston Florida. Unfortunately the camp was purchased by a billionaire who put in a swimming pool and a bar and grill. Now he eliminated our camping spots and cottages and raised the rates beyond reason. 1/2

I sculpted this. It took me almost 5 years. Lifesized johnny cash statue. I have so many conflicting feelings.

Just about finished with this statue. Guess who!

They loaded up a huge semi flatbed with random stuff and sent it away with sirens and lights. The actual warhead was wrapped a tarp and put in the back of a pickup truck. They didn’t want attention.

We used to take coffee breaks at work. Old guys would tell stories: Otis used to work for the Army or maybe it was the Corps of Engineers. It has been a while. He told this story of his team finding the atomic bomb warhead from the disaster in Damascus, Arkansas.

Working on a sculpture. Have mixed feelings.
