"It's a monumental win for the United States...it's a big win for Europe and western civilisation."

This has been a hard policy to implement, and too narrow in scope. It strikes me that it would have been much better to address intergenerational inequality more broadly (including things like the triple lock, etc). Not saying these should be scrapped, but seems help is targeted more at the elderly.
