We named this one Pixie (well, my wife did). A rescue we took in when it was (likely) only a few weeks old. And she wanted to be a mom at six months old; yeah cats grow fast!.

Dragonflies have 5 eyes: 2 large compound eyes and 3 simple eyes called ocelli. The large compound eyes are made of thousands of tiny lenses that give them a nearly 360° field of vision, while the 3 simple eyes help with flight orientation and stabilization

So, here is an African Fish-Eagle flying away with the dismembered head of a catfish. Like most birds of prey, the African Fish-Eagle is a hunter. But it won't say no to a free meal. This particular head of a catfish was left over from the local fishermen.
