Though most of my childhood Christmas Eves involved cops and/or ambulances, and I once spent a birthday in the hospital having emergency surgery on something I can’t describe in polite company so shitty special occasions are kinda my thing 🤷‍♂️

Since I’m on vacation I just let my “my soundtrack” playlist run for hours on end and, friends, it goes places I would not have expected given a long enough span of time.

The (now former) Pope sent her a very nice letter and a gift for her assistance.

She has it in a drawer somewhere because for some reason displaying all the ridiculous shit she gets from the people she works with is of less-than-zero interest to her.
