In addition to suffering the cost to their quality of life, patients with OCD also present high rates of comorbid-ity with other disorders: up to 90% of patients with OCD will fulfil criteria for another disorder at some time during their lives, as some epidemiological studies have found.

As a severe OCD sufferer, reading the highlighted bit spelled out this clearly was shocking, but definitely rang true. People have no clue of the level of torture we have to go through daily. It’s just so shocking to see it spelled so clearly and recognised after years of people diminishing my pain.
