The UAE is an authoritarian autocracy, a petro-state with no income tax for citizens, to bribe them for the lack of democratic voice or free speech

It is 85% migrant, a segregated society with a ban on integration in principle and practice, few rights, equal opportunities, nor voice for incomers

โ€œYou described Reform and other parties across Europe today as among the 'right wing equivalents of the fascists in the 1930s'. Why?โ€

โ€œBecause thatโ€™s what they areโ€

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social asks Lord Heseltine about remarks he made at Conservative Party Conference.

Why is it that it takes politicians in their 90s to speak out and call these people for what they truly are !
Truth counts !
While others just join any party to save their own skins!

The 50-foot Dignity sculpture by Dale Lamphere honors Sioux women with a shimmering star quilt and proud stance overlooking the Missouri River. A beautiful tribute to Indigenous culture, yet it still doesnโ€™t get nearly the attention it deserves. (Source: Smithsonian Magazine)

Extraordinary and so WRONG.
Wtf happened to people who used to say, "it can never happen again", but well said Heseltine.

Extraordinary that truths based on post-war anti-fascist values are confined to fringe events of the Tory conference, while Robert Jenrick is given the main stage to promote nativist white nationalism.

Heseltine at the Tory conf:

"Fascists of the 30s are back... Trump's language coincides with words here... The immigrant has replaced the Jew as the problem. We must make clear we will never have any part in the populist extremism of Farage... We don't need Trump's mouthpiece anywhere near No. 10.โ€

Neither the Tories nor Starmerโ€™s Blue Labour-infected cabal can see that Heseltine represents the decent humane majority of the electorate.

The Tories, lost in the stinking fog of Farageโ€™s cigarette smoke, wonโ€™t listen.

But Labour should - if it cares about its own survival and our democracy.

5. When we talk about the 90-in-180-day problem we mean that a frequent traveller who travels all over Europe might find they are unable to visit ONE particular country at all, because they used up all their 90 days in ANOTHER.

This was always the fatal flaw of Labour's "Reform are great for us, because they will split the right wing vote" strategy, long term. Unless the Tories pull their fkn finger out, the right wing vote AIN'T GOING TO SPLIT. Just transfer further to the right.

Considering how historically literate and sensitive to echoes of speeches of the past our media has shown itself to be, when it comes to every word uttered by a progressive, I find the lack of reaction to Jenrick ending his speech with "let us build this new order" quite puzzling. ~AA

After spending an entire morning defending his suggestion that there are too many non-white faces in the UK, Robert Jenrick ends his speech with the line: "Let's take our country back".

Nigel Farage, 3rd September to U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee

โ— "Free speech is under assault in Britain."

โ— Free speech laws are "a sledgehammer that misses the nut" because they censor opinion.

Rachel Reeves clears planning blockage amid โ€˜good relationshipโ€™ with developer Exclusive: Chancellor says 20,000 homes were being held up due to โ€˜some snails that are a protected species or somethingโ€™

Utterly beholden to lobbyists, staggeringly ignorant and dismissive of the natural world: Rachel Reeves might not look or sound like Donald Trump, but she is behaving very much like him. This government is even more of an ecological hazard than the Tories were.

As UKIP MEPs, Farage & Gill were repeating exactly the same Kremlin talking points

Gill just plead guilty to accepting Russian bribes for this reason.

Why are the media not chasing Farage?
The evidence is all there, on tape.

It probably did come from Lavrov's mouth, straight into Farage's ear.

8/ In short, Farage's speech was that of a traitor reciting an undiluted stream of Russian propaganda lies.

Did he get paid for this, like Nathan Gill, or is he the kind of treasonous fascist tool who would do this for free?

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 73    ๐Ÿ” 19    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 3    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

7/ Farage also attacked Western support to the Syrian rebels who were fighting Russia's monstrous puppet Assad.

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 44    ๐Ÿ” 7    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

6/ Farage then parroted Putin's ruse of trying to present Russia as an ally in the war against Islamist terrorism, a ruse Putin had very effectively used to distract the West from his imperialist and hostile intentions.

(Note the way the 'Muslim threat' is being used in the present day)

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 39    ๐Ÿ” 9    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

5/ Farage parroted the Russian lie about the Ukrainian revolution being a 'coup', encouraged by the West, denying that the Ukrainians needed no encouragement to overthrow a leader who was set on taking Ukraine back under Russian domination.

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 47    ๐Ÿ” 11    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

4/ Farage denied the fact that having been invaded by Russia in the past, Eastern European nations saw NATO membership as essential to their defence and independence, and the EU as essential for prosperity and escaping Russian economic domination

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 45    ๐Ÿ” 11    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

3/ Farage's attack on NATO and EU expansion was pure Russian propaganda, denying the sovereign right of Eastern European countries to join those organisations,

28.09.2025 14:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 51    ๐Ÿ” 12    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

2/ Farage called Ukraine 'The Ukraine' several times. He clearly knew enough about Ukraine to know that was a Russian propaganda meme used to deny Ukraine's existence as a real nation.

He blamed NATO and the EU 'empire' for provoking Russia.
