All other banners are a feeble attempt to milk as much out of the little dregs of traffic that is left after ai overviews regurgitated the websites traffic.

And we have cookie banners, why? Because of all the malevolent stuff that the likes of Google did that forces every website to have a cookie banners.

part of the allure of using ai to get answers is knowing that you wont have to fight through a bunch of cookie banners and popups an the website that you might have googled.
