I can keep identifying the patterns that put me back into similar situations that are not healthy for me and hold compassion for how I ended up back there.
I can start seeking out people that make me feel safe enough to turn towards that part of myself that I keep disowning. 5/

I can’t just do things over until I’m a flawless version of myself that I like; I’m not a video game.
But I can change how I frame changes in my life and how I receive myself during those changes and be excited for myself. 4/

I’ve been myself this whole time, I just need to be more accepting of me in my entirety, even when it’s cringe or unpolished or I’m not “attractive” (this seems to be the hardest thing, always). 3/

But this time I want to avoid saying “I’m starting”.
I’m already doing.
My perceived failures are apart of the journey, not something I need to amputate to be allowed to trying something different in hopes of being “more myself”. 2/

I can’t wait to move up to the central coast and to get back in touch with myself. I feel like I’ve always said “time to start- “ anytime I make a life change, as if I need to “end” something for whatever’s next to be “fresh” and “untouched” by whatever perceived failures has lead to said change 1/

It’s taking me a bit to get used to having another social platform (evidently) but also maybe I’m just secretly forcing myself to relearn patience and accept that not everything has to be instantaneous 😌
