I definitely feel that! And I am trying to remember every day that my joy (any joy really) can be contagious. So why not try and brighten other people's lives too! 🫶💜☺️

Trans joy is alchemy & magic—undeniable, transformative & sacred. It’s an act of defiance, of creation, of hope. It’s something the world can never take from us. Hold onto it. Nurture it. Share it. Let it shine, even in the darkest times.

In these trying times, I want to remind everyone (myself included): Don’t lose your joy. Don’t lose your connection to others. It’s easy to get caught up in the heaviness of the world, but our joy is resistance. It’s power. A force that keeps us grounded, keeps us going, & reminds us who we are.

Today marks THREE YEARS on HRT! Three years of choosing me, reclaiming my life, and thriving in my authentic self! I woke up, I fought, I survived—every single day to get to this moment. And I’m not stopping now! We have been here! We will always be here! Loud, proud, and unstoppable! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Together, we can direct our energy into action: not just for survival, but for a future where every person can thrive. We’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again. Change is coming—it’s time to be a part of it. 🧵 6/6

I’m scared—terrified, even. But I’ve come to realize that fear is not a reason to stay silent or still. Fear can be a guide, a reminder of what’s at stake. This moment calls for courage, not in the absence of fear, but in spite of it. 🧵 5/6

Our visibility, resilience, & unity can reshape society—not just for us, but for everyone. The fight for liberation has always been intertwined with justice, and now it’s time to channel our fear, anger, & hope into building something better. 🧵 4/6

To simply exist as queer and trans people today is an act of defiance, a radical statement in the face of oppressive systems that would rather see us erased. It’s time to own that power, not just as individuals but as a collective. 🧵 3/6

As a pacifist, the idea of putting my body on the line terrifies me. Yet, the state of the world—the growing attacks on our rights, identities, and existence—has kindled a fervor within me that I can no longer ignore. To simply exist as queer and trans people today is an act of defiance. 🧵 2/6

The Civil Rights Movement & Stonewall Riots have shown us an undeniable truth: meaningful change & revolution are rarely free of violence. While violence is never a solution, history teaches it often emerges as a temporary, albeit painful, byproduct of revolutionary transformation. 🧵 1/6

We're not here to debate our existence. We're not a question. We're a demographic. We've been here & will always be here no matter how hard they try to erase our existence. As long as there are humans there will be trans people. Our right to exist as ourselves is just as valid as the next person's.

HER and Hinge have worked decently for me.

This right here. Civil rights laws are being gutted. Even when they are enforced, it's increasingly in service of benefiting white men.

For me it's the fact that they have dropped all pretense and are emboldening the phobes and bigots to drive engagement via hatred and discord (which gets more clicks). A lie is already halfway around the world before the truth even laces up its shoes. It's the loss of my communities that I grieve.
