Reminds me I visited Moscow in EARLY 1990. The ceiling of the lobby in the Intourist hotel was like a honeycomb across the whole ceiling to accept a lightbulb in each cell. I’d say generously there was only one bulb installed and/or working for every 30 cells. It was so dim in there!
