Based on his gaudy transformation of the Oval Office, we can be sure that the new ballroom will be grossly overindulgent, and used by Trump to impress and extract money and promises. In one corner will be a CryptoGrift ATM machine. Regular folks will never see the inside, except maybe on a tour.

Trump‘s “Ukraine surrender plan” will enrich Russia, limit Ukraine’s future, and no doubt add some sweet sweet cash to Trump’s CryptoGrift account.

When Putin says the plan is a starting point, he knows that Trump never tries hard, and just wants any deal so that Trump looks good for a moment.

Trump is a chronic, persistent liar and he never takes responsibility. He is happy to take credit for things that he didn’t do, like ending eight wars already, and he blames others even when the timelines and involvement

I like the yellow sky. The view is unique, and first seen small on a phone it was hard to figure out the blob past the fence. Of course it’s a peninsula with a building, but the high texture of the water beyond it made it look close - just past the fence. Of course you saw it all and life size. Nice

Trump sets the worst example for society. He’s selfish, arrogant, undependable, and mean.

What Trump does not do is work hard. Everything with him is a lazy, off the cuff idea. So we get a “Gaza ceasefire plan” where step 2 is disarm Hamas, which won’t get done, and a “Ukraine surrender plan” rather than the US showing Russia they better stop. Lazy, selfish nonsense.

You are right. Dodging and burning are analogue semi-equivalents to extracting details from shadows and bright areas of the film. I say semi, because the new digital tools are far more capable, both in the precision and experimentation. I always appreciate artists sharing their work on social media.

Oh definitely! This was not about making your photo better. It’s art. I’ve been a photographer since the B&W dark room days. Sometimes with digital it is fun to see what is possible though imperfect, exploring the shadows and textures. I totally agree about the noise it created. Thanks for the note!

The good news is that, unlike Canada, the US has lots of doctors. It’d be interesting to compare the number of doctors per 1000 citizens, and the income average for General Practitioners. I suspect that US GPs make more, and there is a higher percentage of specialists.

Trump knows that even if the country goes into a terrible depression, his wealth will shield him. Trump does not care about Americans, so he does not care about ruining lives. He lied to get elected. Now he’s having terrible fun. It’s amazing that some people still don’t understand this.

I believe this is a ruse in the short term, to make his followers think that he is still a man of the people’s wishes. Longer-term, when New York City is struggling, he will be able to condemn the socialist approach. Trump is also dreaming of how fun it will be to send the army into New York City.

Tyrants always gain control of the press, confuse the public so that they do not know what is true anymore, and scrub both history and economic news to match their lies of how great the system is under them.

Trump hates this situation for multiple reasons. His authoritarian plans require him to have an iron control over the army, which he intends to activate in many US cities. And even more basic, Trump is all about loyalty: no-one is to question his orders and desires. #ShittyPresident #ShittyHuman

This political cartoon is very well done, with the Ukraine leader in gray, portraying the reality of the terrible peace deal. It is clever How they portray Putin as appearing kindly and appreciative, which is what Trump would crave: his hero happy with his work to get the master a great deal.

Trump lies endlessly but purposefully. He fools his base about tariffs and affordability, he makes people feel truth is no longer discernible, he manipulates countries with ideas and plans he rescinds, he gets out of trouble, and enjoys making people nervous and unsure. #ShittyPresident #ShittyHuman

Based on your comment, maybe turn the middle and right side into a very bright, light dappled area. Maybe imagine there are hostas and banana leaves.

Trump hates doing any work, so he will always seek a quick, poor quality solution. It was the same with the 21 step Gaza quasi-peace plan, where the second step required Hamas to relinquish their weapons, which of course they have no intention to do.
