Supreme Court Says Parents Can "Opt Out" Of Positively-Affirming LGBTQ+ Public School Lessons Mahmoud vs Taylor asked whether or not parents could opt their children out of public classroom lessons that positively depict LGBTQ+ people.

What does the Mahmoud v Taylor Supreme Court case actually mean? A look at the ruling, its implications, understanding the Establishment Clause through the eyes of the far-right, and why we should be concerned about school voucher schemes with this outcome:

But the Supreme Court already decided: SEPARATE IS NOT EQUAL.

Justice Alito wrote for the majority that our books are β€œcoercive” because they show LGBTQ+ JOY. Which is HUMAN JOY.
Every child deserves books that honor their FULL HUMANITY.
