Ohhh the sky club thing is actually nice. Huh. I feel like I’m getting away with something being in here but so far they haven’t kicked me out.

The day after my doctor tells me "oh yeah, you should be using your sunlamp for TWO HOURS every day" the darn thing won't turn on. It heard my plans and decided that was too much work. Can't blame it.

Triumph of the day: the bathroom light works again! It is no longer a haunted bathroom. It was the switch, and that's what I thought it was, so I'm feeling very smug.

I got things done today that I'd been putting off! Also, @smallwondersmag.com continues to be a source of joy to work on and produce.

Important update: I have completed MOST of the tasks even though I had to go out into the cold cruel world. I was stymied by stupid insurance issues for one thing, but I took steps to fix it, and also I got a chai and two cupcakes at a cute little bakery so perhaps fueling the body isn't so bad.

I'd take this thing back to the factory and demand an upgrade, but there's no warranty and the upgrade schedule is, lemme check here... yeah, there isn't one. No upgrades at all! Not even laser vision!

Ok, but there aren't even poison spikes or glands or anything? These thumbs are easily broken? It feels like we made some bad deals.

Right? I've been compiling lists of problems with the hardware and it's just endless! Not to mention the extremely unhelpful error codes. Getting a headache could be "fuel the body" or "hydrate the body" or "the outside pressure changed slightly" or "the system is under attack by virus". Yeesh!

I'm informed that the fueling has to happen MULTIPLE times a day, even. This design is deeply flawed.

Ooooo bubble tea! I had that several times earlier this week, so I'm probably not going to get more today. Probably.

Also, multiple times?! Whyyyyyy I want to fuel the body just once and be done with it (this despite the fact that I actually like food and eating. I just don't wanna)

I have managed to get 3/4 of the way through several (not even unpleasant!) tasks that have been looming over me for a while. Gonna get those last little bits done today, dammit. But first, food. It turns out a body needs fuel, which is such bullshit.
