Being trapped in our little forest cabin isn't so bad. Took some adjusting but pretty much have it sorted so it's quite pleasant atm

We live in a cabin in the woods near-ish to Seattle and have the same issues. Road ices up, can't get out. We have a pile of food & essentials saved for just such times. We call it "The Hoard".

Got rear ended last night in the GrimWife's new-ish Jeep. Smashed up pretty good. No injuries. Poor kid that hit me was shook. Had to calm him down and let him know I wasn't mad. Stuff happens. Was driving an '82 Chevy Truck. I was much jealous.

Poor GrimWife. Took 2 weeks off for the holidays. Been raining, literally, every day. Tomorrow, heading back to the office. Weather clearing and will be sunny-ish all week. Rain again on Friday. She's cursed. 😂
