Prior to covid, at my club you could expect a ratio of 5 or 6 customers per girl. Since covid it dropped to 1 to 1 or worse. And not just my club but the whole area. The first couple years after covid money got stupid good but that all dried up a few years ago. I don't? The EE is a 64-bit part, it just has some 128-bit vector units on the side. Filling the VUs with instructions and data would have been much more painful with 32-bit registers/ops, which was my point.

X360 *ports* to PC mostly compiled to 32-bit because MSVC's x64 compilers until the 2010s were pretty horrible and the userland/driver situation wasn't much better (XP64 was experimental, Win7 was the first Windows to actually work well on AMD64), so there wasn't a point.

Nope. Maybe on x86 (early AMD64 compilers were kinda dogshit at using the extra registers), but while the PS2 EE (R5900) made some extremely questionable architectural decisions, staying in 64-bit mode isn't one of them, mostly because eventually you're going to use the vector units, end of.

not sure. like I said, it's a mess. your best bet is gonna be wired, especially for third-party controllers, since at least there we can treat it as a composite device with an HID and a USB audio device involved.
