Let me get this right, fascist republicans say there’s no money to address the ongoing Healthcare crisis in the US but there is money for the orange felon’s $250M ballroom, $172M for racist dog murderer Kristi Noem’s two jets and a $40B giveaway to Argentina’s dictator. Got it.

SNAP benefits have never been cut off in any government shutdown... until now. Not once. Not under Bush. Not under Obama. Not even during other long shutdowns. The only two times Americans have come close to losing food assistance - 2018 shutdown and now - were both under Donald Trump's presidency. In 2018, the USDA had to scramble to pay February benefits early to stop people from going hungry. Now in 2025, they're warning that millions may not get November benefits at all. We're talking about families who rely on $6 a day for food... being told there's "no funding"... while billionaires get tax breaks and ICE burns through millions on tear gas. This isn't fiscal responsibility. It's cruelty. Which seems to be the theme of Trump's administration." @TheJFreakinC

The White House is illegally refusing to use reserve funds to pay for SNAP benefits and Donald Trump is fully aware of this.

Don’t be gaslit, the money is there, but Trump refuses to prioritize the needs of American citizens because his main concern is a ballroom.

NOAA flights are flying into hurricanes unpaid while Mike Johnson holds daily pressers to say that he, the Speaker of the House, is not in control of the House. In case you need a good example of how much of a coward Johnson is.

It was so frustrating how many people told me to relax back then, that I was overreacting, and that things would swing the other direction in the next election. They just didn’t understand. In retrospect, I was underreacting, unable to imagine the depths of corruption and evil they were capable of.
