When plotting, I tend to think in terms of two main kinds of plot progression: Location and Sequential.

Location plots are pretty familiar to most of the history of D&D (and thus to video games): you go to a place, discover new dangers, rewards, and lore, then you go to a new place.

Looks like a wonderful experience.

After 57 sessions we had an epic end to the Rise of the Runelords adventure path.

Not only were the characters victorious in saving the world, the players were also victorious in completing a multi year campaign!!
