From my experience, introverts thrive when working from a quiet home (working in a home with noisy people around negates that benefit), and extroverts thrive from working in a bustling office. It’s not all or nothing. The key is flexibility to find a sweet spot for every org & individual in balance.

I don’t think we have a free press anymore, or free speech. If a conservative opinion writer said something from the opposite perspective, would he or she have been fired? Probably not. The Washington Post appears to be controlled by the White House.

It seems “young” men are desperate to prove themselves as strong, tough, masculine, or similar adjectives, and they want to to avoid anything feminine or weak. The right comes across as strong & masculine to the point of hurting women and minority groups. Empathy is being seen as weak unfortunately

Extreme hypocrisy on display. Conservatives and MAGA supporters in my Facebook feed are suddenly waxing poetic about how wrong political violence is and how we need to stop targeting people for their beliefs. If a Democrat or liberal were the victim, they would be silent. They have been silent.

We already have fascism. Every action just deepens and widens it and makes it move towards hurting more people and taking more freedoms away.

Don’t forget women leaders aren’t allowed to smile or laugh because it’s a sign of weakness and becomes a “cackle,” but if they never smile it’s worse. And all successful women must have slept their way to the top because it couldn’t possibly be about their competence.

It was before Nixon. Lincoln wanted the nation to heal quickly and get back to “normal” with union supports living next door to confederate sympathizers. When there are no consequences and people aren’t held accountable for their actions, the ideology metastasizes and returns in different forms.

For all we really know it was a group of migrants heading to the US for the fall harvest. The untrustworthy US government only has to miss label anything they do to justify it. We arrested and disappeared a “criminal.” We destroyed a boat of “drug traffickers.” Etc. No credibility.
