Acetaminophen remains a safe pain relief option during pregnancy. Despite recent unfounded claims, there’s no clear evidence linking prudent use to fetal development issues. ACOG's guidance remains. When needed in pregnancy, acetaminophen should be used in moderation, after consulting a doctor.

The deepest roots of our obstetric outcomes lie in primary care and the general health of our adult populations.
