CASSIDY: I know it's titillating, but I think we need to move beyond the titillation

TAPPER: This isn't about titillation. This is about the fact that you are the chairman of the health committee and you voted to confirm somebody that by all accounts is actually making America less healthy

Mark Kelly: "The message he sent a couple days ago was he declared that loyalty to the Constitution is now punishable by death. Those are serious words coming from the president. He's trying to intimidate us. But I'm not going to be intimidated."

You absolutely have the constitutional right to record ICE, Border Patrol, or any law enforcement officer in public, and with everything happening in Charlotte right now, people need to understand that clearly.

Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

Itโ€™s crazy to think about the crimes weโ€™re going to learn about after this regime ends.

Weโ€™re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after itโ€™s over.

Weโ€™re going to need a full accounting of all thatโ€™s been done in violation of the constitution.

US senators say Rubio told them Trumpโ€™s Ukraine peace plan is Russia's 'wish list' U.S. senators critical of President Donald Trumpโ€™s approach to ending the Russia-Ukraine war say they spoke with Secretary of State Marco Rubio who told them that the peace plan Trump is pushing Kyiv ...

Russia gave Trump a document. Trump signed it with the autopen and had someone deliver it to Ukraine on Hunter's laptop.

But the point to all this is... Russia created the document.

It really is the bare minimum.
It feels like openly saying that those things *arenโ€™t* bad, should be a crime in itself.

And no, Iโ€™m not worried about free speech.
Because Iโ€™m not concerned about what other type of speech will get taken away if we donโ€™t allow people to protect pedophiles out loud.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 91st day out of the last 103.

12 days of work in 103 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. Itโ€™s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Donโ€™t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Amazon just announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Citizens United v. FEC, 558 U.S. 310 (2010)
This Court now concludes that independent expenditures, including those made by corporations, do not give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption. That speakers may have influence over or access to elected officials does not mean that those officials are corrupt. And the appearance of influence or access will not cause the electorate to lose faith in this democracy.

This is how we beat the system. If the government wonโ€™t help take care of its people, we must take care of each other.

Community has been intentionally taken from us, we have to take it back.

NEW: Thereโ€™s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boyโ€™s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

โ€œMy world collapsed,โ€ Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICEโ€™s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

ICE kidnapped a 7th-grader with a pending asylum claim and spirited him out of state without notifying his parents, seemingly with the cooperation of the local police in Everett, MA.
