There are many PACs in the US that advocate for foreign countries, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, India, Armenia, Cuba, China & others. I think we would agree that it be great if we could rid the influence of all PACs in our elections.

When you hear nonsense like this, you wonder how some people have been able to make a career as a journalist/political pundit.

Trump is influenced more by Orban & Putin than Bibi. Why don’t you complain about Hungarian & Russian influence on Trump’s foreign policy? I wonder why that is? (2/2)

Cause Bibi wants Trump to attack Iran doesn’t mean he is the one dictating Trump’s decisions. Trump has huge financial interests w/ Gulf Arab States who hate Iran. How do you know that it is not them that are influencing Trump on Iran. (1/2)⬇️

If Trump decides to attack Iran, the sole reason is his megalomania. He wants to be the central focus of the world’s attention. It’s how he gets his jollies. That’s the primary rationale.

And how, pray tell, does Israel control American’s policies? And what policies are you referring to? And how is this orchestrated by AIPAC? Yes, AIPAC contributes to many politicians. But so do many other PACs. So why the singular focus on AIPAC?

19.02.2026 01:28 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Is that the only PAC that backs him? Call them out too. There are also many other PACs supporting politicians across the board. AIPAC is just 1 of many & not the most dominant one. Dean, there are so many Jews who are anti-Bibi, anti-occupation, pro-2 states. Yet the rhetoric employed excludes us.

Randy Fine is a reprehensible person & a horrible bigot. I also greatly dislike AIPAC. But AIPAC has become a dog whistle used by antisemites. The phrasing β€œAIPAC backed” is a regrettable choice of words, at best. You are better than this.

If you advocated for abolishing ICE & rejecting PAC money, I’d agree. But this idea that AIPAC has an incredibly outsized influence on US politics compared to other PACs, smacks of complaining about the global Jewish conspiracy. Listen to your rhetoric. You are getting close to promoting Nazi shit.

Nobody votes w/o ID. Every polling place has voter rolls that are checked. When I go to vote I sign in & my signature is checked w/ what is on record. What the GOP wants to do is add several layers of ID, such as driver licenses which many city residents don’t have, to throw out legitimate voters.

Jeffries understands. His rhetoric goes back & forth from being strong to being much less so. His main concern & job is keeping his caucus in the House united, so he is aware that he can’t get out in front of the entire caucus. That is why he often couches his rhetoric.

I respect that you aren’t a Progressive except Palestine candidate. What has happened in Gaza is indeed horrific& inexcusable. Hope you’re also not a Progressive except Jews candidate. Antisemitism has become rampant since 10/7 as too many progressives have excluded Jews & fabricated Jewish history

Look there’s a lot of fair criticism & condemnation of Bibi’s Israel. But Albanese since 10/7/23 has consistently offered over-the-top accusations against Israel. I dislike it when people willy nilly label others they disagree with as antisemitic. But in the case of Albanese the label is appropriate

They’re not drawing down 700 agents. They are just going to transfer them to another city, town or state.

I’m one of many long-term subscribers to the Washington Post who sadly decided not to renew last year cause Bezos ruined the nation’s best newspaper.

One can hope that this will end soon, but I sincerely doubt it.

I agree with you, not everything is a holocaust. But Walz didn’t make that analogy. His analogy was to Nazi rule, & he was making the pretty accurate point that if left unchecked, Trump & MAGA rule will descend to that level of madness.

I don’t understand the outrage at Gov Walz’s remarks. It was not disrespectful to either Anne Frank’s legacy or Jewish trauma during the Holocaust. Walz was clearly making the case that the path being pursued by the Trump administration has analogy to The fascism of the 1930s.

Bill Kristol has been forcefully speaking against Trump & MAGA for a long time. Shame on us if we are unable to summon enough grace to recognize when people change for the better & embrace their better angels.

Maybe. But you need to look at the big picture. The way the Trump administration is going, none of us will have jobs two years from now.

We are not quite there yet. But that is where Trump & MAGA want to take us. We are already in Pinochet territory. And if we get out of this, we will find out like in Pinochet’s Chile, that many, many people have been β€œdisappeared.”

I agree, but not before Trump greatly escalates his attack against Minnesota. Also, I am afraid that Renee Good will be far from the last casualty from the actions of Trump’s goons (i.e., Miller’s Gestapo).

Buy New York State instead. It’s closer to Denmark.

Trump sent ICE to Minnesota for his intense & longstanding bigotry against the Somali community. Remember during the 2016 campaign, where one of his last campaign stops was in Minnesota where the focus of his comments was his hatred of the Somalis.
