Trump vowed to end surprise medical bills. The team working on that just got slashed Trump's first round of staff cuts to federal agencies eliminated dozens of positions at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, in charge of implementing the No Surprises Act.

As a candidate, Trump promised to end surprise medical billing.  

Just weeks into his second term, DOGE has slashed the federal office charged with implementing a bipartisan law cracking down on surprise medical bills.

Yet another Trump lie.

Remember this the next time Republicans try paying for them with cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
