This is a wonderful article and walk down memory lane in some respects. I've never been into extraction shooters, but the way Ify pulls in their origins is a guide to see how I could have gotten there. There's parts of their systems I definitely could enjoy.

I'm not going to pretend like I don't understand why people are drawn to a magical program that makes you feel like you have talent, but I think the lack of base discernment in today's society combined with the CEOs that can tinker with the AI. Just doesn't seem like a good recipe here.

The thing that caught my eye was this move to incorporate Target shopping into ChatGPT to which made me look up how many active users it has and this was pretty harrowing.

All of the obvious aversions aside, I think the most alarming thing about this is how often AI gets it wrong.

Admittedly, this feels like a first draft take, but sometimes you gotta just publish it so you can leave your topical idea behind and get into your writing tempo for your deeper evergreen ideas.
