I've been out of the Big Finish game for about a year but tempted by the 13th Doctor and Yaz box set. I want more 13 and Yaz after my Flux rewatch. Is it worth me investing??

At 44 I have just watched my first ever episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures - I was too old for it back when the show was Broadcast so I'm ancient now. However, I'm a Doctor Who fan - I need to watch the series!

Oh wow! I have loved rewatching Flux - I loved it second time around #DoctorWho

Further I get away from Series B the more I think RTD shat the bed on this one. All the elements I dislike about the series - poor writing, the characterisation of Bel and the Doctor, the last 20 mins of Reality War the more it taints the good parts (Story and the Engine, Lux, The Well).

I am midway through watching Survivors of the Flux - It's not even the best ep of the season but one thing it has in spades is scale, ambition and great incidental music plus Yaz has oodles of agency.

I don't want to dig out one era of Doctor Who by praising another but I am really enjoying rewatching #Flux. I really think everyone should rewatch the Chibnall era - theres issues yeah but so much to enjoy. And man I miss Jodie's Doctor.

Just re-watched The Halloween Apocalypse - Ep 1 of #DoctorWho Flux - What a great first episode - Not watched it since broadcast and didn't recall the great scene setting it was for the series. The music! Wow! The Visuals! Wow! I thought it was brilliant! And Yaz! Such a underrated companion.

The cover is so bad. And someone got paid to design that?

Some visual delights throughout the season like Lux, solid story telling on the whole but some major disappointments - Bel turning out to have no character development and Ncuti's Doctor just being meh - I just didn't chime with his portrayal.

Surely Wolf Alice to headline Glastonbury soon? A Gen Z band who kick ass and have banging tunes. Even us centrist Dad types like them.

It does lead to Season 5 but I think Troughton is great. I cannot stand Victoria and love Ben and Polly so I am biased.
