Thank the Tories for keeping Robert Jenrick out of high office Shadow justice secretaryโ€™s comment about not seeing a โ€˜white faceโ€™ shows he does not understand integration

One of the Conservative party's contributions to our country has been keeping people who think you can measure integration through skin colour out of office - what next, are they only going to be lukewarm on the property-owning democracy?

No, tumours arenโ€™t โ€˜bagsโ€™ of toxins and biopsies donโ€™t release them โ€“ Full Fact Incorrect claims that tumours are part of the bodyโ€™s healing response to cancer and that biopsies release toxins have been circulating online.

A post shared on social media falsely claims that tumours are created by the body as a โ€œbagโ€ to contain toxins and that biopsies can โ€œrelease those toxinsโ€.

Incorrect claims about cancer can cause harm if people make treatment decisions based on them.

fundamentally the problem is that if you think "hotels are where I stay on holiday and I like being on holiday so living in a hotel must be fun and it's not fair others get to do it and not me" then you have the intellectual reasoning of a little child and it's going to be hard to engage with you

Anyway, I can understand the potential ambiguity - Iโ€™m not posting any more replies here. But I think it was untenable for a landlord to oversee the progression of a renters rights bill anyway. Hopefully there are no more hiccups.

Fixed term contracts would have been illlegal under the renters reform bill (previous proposal) too. During the fixed term, she should have offered the tenants a transition from the fixed term arrangement (illegal under both RR bills) to a rolling agreement.

Fix term contracts would be illegal. She used one so she could sell up, then changed her mind and rented out again within the renters rights bill fixed term - also illegal in future. Plus using that to dramatically increase the rent - new bill blocks eviction as method to increase rent.

Iโ€™m staggered a landlord was put in charge of the Renters Rights Bill. Itโ€™s like putting a fox in charge of the Chickens Rights Bill.

A textbook example of deploying framing bias and contextomy in a desparate attempt to sell more newspapers and generate more clicks.

Exactly one year ago today, Russia struck Ohmatdyt, Ukraine's largest children's oncology hospital.

The international response was weak to nonexistent, allowing Russia to continue its attacks on civilians, including children, with increasing brutality.

5/ Therefore, if we are to have a digital ID system, a lot of work needs to be done to build pathways for vulnerable people to leave exploitative situations. Otherwise human rights abuses could go up and weโ€™ll end up financially stimulating the criminal sector.
