My reliably R legislative district (NJ21) just went D for the 1st time in over 40 years. Longtime R strongholds in that district now have D representation on town councils, if not entire D gov'ts. R candidates need to lash themselves to Trump to get thru a primary then pay the price in the general.

Right! Although our congregation is politically & ethnically diverse, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America an anathema to so-called "evangelicals." After awhile we met outdoors & very socially distanced. Even after we were allowed to meet indoors, most of us remained masked.
