Or you could try to enable something like a Death's Shadow package that some people enjoy and find interesting with Black.

I mean, not really? Or yes? It depends. Black always has potential to be a hodgepodge because it can do anything/everything if it's willing to pay (life) for it. There are some things that could be here - Barrowgoyf and Overlord of the Balemurk - which would lean a bit more into the selfmill/Gaakery

The Ozolith is a premium card for counters decks (which are quite real!) and Boseiju is one of the premium pieces of interaction - it pretty much kills any non-Eldrazi relevant card, and unless they have a typed basic, gets to do so cleanly. It would be on my list as well.

I think people so far have been sleeping on Herald - it doesn’t say Eldrazi, and goes in just about any kind of deck!

Yeah, definitely a solid pickup! Not a ton of lifegain in the cube naturally, so it can be very potent for sure!

Boseiju is definitely on my list as P1-able here. It's very solid interaction for a variety of non-Eldrazi problems.

Small sample size, but the 3 drafts I’ve done have all ended with UWx control winning the pod. I’m not sure it’s too strong, but I’m actually happy to see blue performing well since it has kinda fallen off in Vintage cube and this one doesn’t have many of the blue outliers (power, drain, forces)

Draft 2: 2-0 with UW Control. This deck was sweet. In one game I got to path my crab token to remove my only creature, get my deck down to 20 cards, and flip an instant Balance off the Shelldock, killing 5 creatures mid combat.
