Oh yeah, it’s a mess! Was an interesting enough mess that I had to watch Vox Lux after & that was also a mess. Dude spends all his time making fancy title cards instead of figuring out how to write a second act

I ordered this reissue over the weekend and it was at my house yesterday when I got back from C4AC.

On most days it’s my favorite Silkworm album & I hope they play a bunch from it at the reunion shows this year

This rocks so hard

- cube selection was great & i’m not just saying that bc my cube was in it. Very balanced mix of classic&strange, low&high-power creativity & careful design throughout

- @scottmirts.bsky.social @tarmogal.bsky.social @goblingathering.bsky.social & all other organizers / staff are national treasures

Overall C4AC thoughts:

- the 2/1+top8 split across days felt great, much less hectic than 3 drafts in one day (I feel like a doofus for voting for that last time)

- the venue was great, having coatracks & a PA for announcements was nice. Wish there’d been some way to fill water bottles inside

Left the event space & built a sealed deck of @goblingathering.bsky.social ‘s Alara Reimagined draft set / cube, featuring a mix of unchanged, rebalanced, and totally-new cards in a 3-color environment.

Won one match vs Bones’ Grixis deck with a mix of big creatures and exalted

Drafted some Jund BS in Kurt’s Double Masters-inspired cube post-event; each pack was seeded with 2 rares and a Cryptic Spires that could be exchanged for a shockland post-draft. 3 of each common

Took a bunch of gruul cards p1 then was passed bitterblossom p2p2. games were fun, went 1-1-1

Started the day in 9th and queued into @dant.bsky.social’s hoopin. Started out dimir and got bumped around a lot in draft, ending up as a mostly a mono blue wizards tempo deck. I stayed 9th after my 2-1 but since @gdekker.io had to leave, I got promoted to top 8!! 😂 First top 8 ever!😄 p1p1/pool/deck

Overall record in official play is 4-5 with 3 of those losses coming from my own cube 😅

Won match 3 vs Rakdos, both winning games I was able to stabilize with wraths and claw back with Dawn of Hope.

V fun draft overall!

Currently playing the Idealized Ravnica cube which is sweet so far. Feels like what Ravnica Remastered should have been; I am currently 1-0 with Azorius control after getting my win back vs @worklifevalue.bsky.social. I think we’re currently 1-1 in the Danicide rankings

For a brief moment i was the #2 player on day 2 of @upkeepnewyork.bsky.social cube for a cause
