I really hope so. I heard it's a lot harder to do if you are from a "safe state" like IL or CA. But soon we're not going to have safe states at all of these EOs become law.

Something that gets me about this is it affects cis women too. 1) Every woman who has ever used the men's bathroom because the women's was filthy or had a long line. 2) Any woman who presents "too masculine" is going to get flagged and harassed. We've already seen this happen.

Montgomery County Public Schools comes out and tells Trump to pound sand with his EO telling schools that they have to discriminate against transgender students.

This is how you refuse to comply.

If you’re a straight, cis person who has ever posted some version of a rainbow with “you’re safe with me” or similar, it’s time to back up the words with action— contact your reps and ask them what they’re going to do to protect trans people from this administration, particularly trans kids.

It goes after "social transition" and threatens arrests.

He needs to be held accountable for attacking trans people. The only people who need to be concerned about someone's transition are the patient, the doctor, and the parent if a minor. Parents do their research before making this kind of decision.

Thank you! So many parents and trans youth are scared right now. This EO will do nothing but harm trans youth. Bullying will also be on the rise if trans teens are unable to "pass" and fit in with their peers. Especially if they've already gone through a name change.

BREAKING: President Trump signed an executive order threatening to override families with transgender youth and shut down access to gender-affirming care for trans people under the age of 19 nationwide.

This order will not take immediate effect, and we will not allow this policy to stand.
