If my son were unjustifiably killed I would want revenge. Whether I acted on that revenge or not I truly do not know but I fully understand the father’s rage. My interactions with the police in the USA over the last 30 years of going regularly for work has been mixed. Great to extremely distressing.

My perception is that many people are disappointed in Labor not being perfect and will vote for a mediocre LNP to punish Labor. I personally think that both parties can and should do better, but the LNP need better policies. Renewables and climate change are one of the LNPs many Achilles heels.

The University stuff is really impressive, but β€œtest pilot” excites me. Well done, every generation should get better. Continuous improvement πŸ’ͺ🏻

There’s a lot of negativity and sadness around at the moment, and quite rightly so. But the world can still be a beautiful place. I took this photo last night flying from Singapore to Bangkok. It was a beautiful night. Take care guys and look after yourselves.

Or you could just do like we do in Australia and call it a long black.

Please be safe. I know nothing about your illnesses but hope that the fact you recognise the oncoming symptoms and are in tune with your body may suggest that you eventually win your battle πŸ™πŸ»πŸ€©

Recently, some quality aviation movies have been uploaded to YouTube. So, I thought I'd start a thread about the best in avgeekery #film I've found so far. #avgeek #movies

I am starting with one of the best ever made, Twelve O'Clock High.

Full moon night over the Northern Territory in Australia. Was looking at how bright Venus was when suddenly a β€œtrain” of Starlink satellites came into view. Only there for a minute or two then gone.

A lovely moon lit night flying at 38000ft over the Hindu Kush, north bound on P500. Close to the the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Those mountains are only 11000ft below - MSA 27600ft.

So far it’s great. But I’m mindful of the Threads false start. This appears more solid, old Twitter vibes. I’m more positive this time πŸ™πŸ»
