I highly recommend taking a sunrise/sunset/night game Drive.

Take as many as you can because it’s a great way to get out of the protected, rest camps and see the South African wilderness when the crepuscular animals come out.

Painted Wolf / Wild Dog Just south of Olifants in the Kruger National Park.

The wild dog population in Kruger national Park has really increased a lot in the last few years.

We were lucky to encounter these ones just south of Olifants rest camp.

Certainly caught my eye, for a moment I thought maybe it was two snakes mating, as I’ve seen them move entwined before, but not as quickly ;).

I wonder if any knowedgable snake folk could shed some light on this one.

Local garter snake seems to have either some fused vertebrate or maybe a large meal making its way down?
