Meanwhile, the force went $6.5M over its $400M+ budget.

Totally agree. Stuck in traffic on the bus right now because there is no safe bike route between Keating and town. I so wish I could bike from downtown Vic to my office, the lack of bikes lanes on the Keating overpass was such a miss.

I don't owe my low salary to small business owners. People are struggling to afford groceries and rent and daycare, forcing us in office in the hopes that we buy the odd coffee is pretty shitty and just gives me extra motivation to meal prep and bring coffee from home more than I already do.

Hybrid means I can afford to spend time & $ at local businesses downtown & in my neighbourhood. It's also a huge saving to employers. I stopped going to my fave coffeeshop for my 2x/week office day breakfast&coffee when the owner of Sherwood complained to media about hybrid/remote workers like me :(

So the Victoria tourism sector saw its best season in 10 years, yet apparently Victoria is a cesspool of disorder and no one goes downtown anymore.

I can find the BC government nearly $4 billion:

1) Reinstate the carbon tax ($2.8B)
2) Cancel electrification funding for LNG ($200M)
3) Cancel 7 soccer games in Vancouver ($650M)

That was easy. Maybe I should be the Minister of Finance.
