Today I found it, got excited, & then realized that it was the opening to my dissertation, which I jettisoned several years ago as I began to turn the dissertation into the book. 🤦 It just needed some reframing to actually work. You have to love/hate full circle moments. 🗃

I'm buried in book revisions this summer, & this week I decided to tackle the beginning of the intro, because while I liked it, it wasn't working for readers. I've been scouring ALL of my notes from the past 10 years, looking for the perfect opening. 🗃
