Overall pretty nonplussed by this Direct. But eh, not everything can be super exciting! 14/14

I'm not so big on Marvel, but Cosmic Invasion has that sweet, retro, side-scrolling beat-em-up vibe that I used to love so much (tips hat to River City Ransom, Simpsons arcade, and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, to name a few). Might give this one a try! 13/14

Ooooh, and there's a 3rd one? OK, def wanna play through the whole Monument Valley series whether it's on Switch or not. 12/14

I never finished Monument Valley, and didn't even know there was a Monument Valley II. A lot of indie games I prob won't play on the Switch, but these might be great with my daughters. Will forever love the art style and simple premise here. Influenced so many games since. 11/14

The Wandering Village. Not much to say here but I had a board game idea for something maybe similar (ie. large creatures that have civilizations on their back) so I'm both interested to check it out and also hesitant as I don't want to influence my design too much. 10/14

Virtual Game Card. I find this not that useful. What I really want is a way that I could buy physical games, but not need the cartridge to play them. I know, I know, this creates the potential for exploitation. But it would be fantastic if there was some tech enabling that... 9/14

Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It's great to get a new Legends entry, as I played through Arceus w/ my daughters & despite the endless dialogue we enjoyed it a lot. I don't really dig the modern city setting of Z-A, but we'll still prob play it as the girls request Pokémon endlessly. 8/14

Funny, I was just thinking about Tamagotchi the other day. Did not realize the IP was still alive. Though beyond that nostalgic note, not sure Tamagotchi Plaza has anything of interest in it... 7/14

Gradius Origins. Nothing special as it's a collection of older games, but I'm a sucker for shumps and I never played Gradius back in the day so I'm curious. Also neat to see that Salamander has a new entry plus it appears that title actually shifts from side to above view. 6/14

Wow, Eternal Life of Goldman looks mega dank. The art style and vibe is dope (Studio Ghibli esque!), and the brief glimpse of gameplay - especially the cane upgrading segment - actually seems pretty solid. This one came out of nowhere for me! 5/14

Any news about Metroid Prime 4 is fantastic, and though the preview was full of content and info and looked decent, it still felt a bit underwhelming... Maybe too time has passed and too much hype / expectations has built up? 4/14

Patapon 1+2 aren't games for me, but I dig the artist style and I've been wanting to see more rhythm games after remember and missing PaRappa the Rapper recently... 3/14

Shadow Labyrinth as a "dark twist on the iconic Pacman" is an absurd and sort of kooky idea honestly, but it's looking kind of fun, nonetheless! 2/14
