Maybe we should honor the women who were real astronauts.

Something Bizarre Is Happening to People Who Use ChatGPT a Lot ChatGPT "power users," or those who use it the most, are becoming dependent upon β€” or even addicted to β€” the chatbot.

There’s already a growing body of evidence that heavy use of LLMs (which I refuse to call it Artificial Intelligence because they ain’t) impacts critical thinking and language skills. And now there’s this. No thanks.

Let's debunk this whole "space is hard" mantra.

Looking at all NASA-led missions launched since 2000, only 4 out of ~60 missions experienced total failures.

Two of these were due to issues with the commercial launch vehicle, & two were spacecraft issues.

That is a *93% success rate.* (1/n)

It is perhaps timely to remember that France left NATO's military command structure in 1966 and pursued an independent French nuclear deterrent - a direct result of the doubts of whether the US dominance in NATO would meet key obligations in the face of a Soviet invasion of Europe.

Let’s rebuild #Aviation Twitter on Bluesky! For a decade, I enjoyed the AvGeek banter with a huge engaged community over there. That place is now DEAD TO ME.

I’m a Ferry Pilot, former Airline Capt, and for the last 25 years, I’ve been moving airliners around the world with my company #Nomadic

Everyone saying not to pay your Federal taxes, is a idiot. That means YOU will get the penalties and interest assessed at the MARKET rate. Extensions are ONLY for the paperwork. Unless you absolutely know 100% that you are getting a refund, you will have to write a check by April 15.

Move fast and break things is not the motto you want to adopt at a regulatory system that, as challenged as it may seem at times, is extremely functional.

For me and my industry peers, this is so close to home. While we have insight into crowded airspace and complex operations, we know just as much as you: it’s tragic. Take care when asking crew. Hot takes from anyone, even, but especially, the president, right now is premature and disgusting.

A picture of a Google building over a nonsensical CNN headline: "Google complies with Trump executive orders, changing names of geographical landmarks."

This is an absolutely nonsensical headline: private companies aren't subject to presidential executive orders--they're not part of the government! There's no "compliance" going on here because there's nothing for Google to comply with; this is corporate kowtowing, plain and simple.

Do better, CNN.
