A turn-based JRPG battle with several enemies on the left and the player's party of five on the right. The selected enemy is the Cyclops Blackguard, who currently has five status effects with tooltips shown.

The passives menu for Xochipilli, Lizardfolk Adventurer. The Lizardfolk passive is highlighted, and says "Immune to most DoTs. HoTs heal for 50% more. +20% ARM, SPD, and Accuracy. Passive."

An equipment menu with several items and slots. The Hands slot is currently empty, and the selected item is "Mime's Bracelets" with the description: Nearest to death is when the performance reaches the climax. When Hp is below 25%, gain an extra action.

Good news is the alternate font works now.

The bad news is that it only properly works on new files, because for some reason NPC dialogue boxes don't change on old files. That's the pain of a 3 yr old codebase; so it's going to be an alternate build branch for those that want it.

Really fun with plenty of bonus stages and sharp controls.

Got the cursor and the map scrolling working, which are the duties of the SceneViewWidget. Next I need to make sure that the animation handler is working correctly. #ghrpg #GameDev #RefactoringHeck

Couldn't stop myself from implementing throwing weapons (javelins and throwing knives) 1.5 months before release. 🤪

They are a weapon class that uses the utility slot, making them ideal for hybrid builds.

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

Now fully functional, with random allocation of bonus points (shown) & sound fx. Just needs mouse input for stat selection and some additional screen reader compatibility bits added.
