I can imagine especially so for people with accessibility requirements. Will try for a straight up speed stat boost so you are essentially faster than enemies when on road but walk normal

Experiment with roads and paths making you walk faster - in this case two tiles per step. I think it works kinda well? Handy in a tight spot but always with the option for YASD

It's a mix of a lot of things - cities, dungeons, ruins, shrines, mines, camps, etc. They're all real locations in the game that generate procedural detail when you visit the chunk. Caves of Qud style persistent world with really really basic hand drawn 16x16 sprite graphics

I've spent way way too much sleep time working on this, and now it's an entire mini game with hundreds of fish, skill-based stats, rods to collect, lures, enchantments to apply. Why is this in a traditional roguelike? I don't know.
