Here's the "house" I built next to dungeon stairs - nestled into some trees and with a barricade for the final bit of wall as I ran out of stone... the barricade meant I had line of sight outside. A bandit sat out there most of the night waiting for me or maybe bugging out lol

Night (0.5 to 1.0)- lerp from amber toward a dark cool palette. Everything dims to about 50% brightness with a blue shift (blue channel gets *0.7 + 15 instead of the flat *0.5 that red/green get)

08.02.2026 01:58 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes, basically! The function I've written for thi takes any hex colour and a progress value (0.0 = bright day and 1.0 = deep night) and runs it through three stages:
1. Day (progress = 0.0): Brighten everything +30%, warm shift (boost red/green more than blue)
Published delve 0.5.3, which squashes a few bugs and adds a bit of polish here and there!
Now onward and upward to ver 0.6, which will hopefully only take a month or two.......

entities finally have some (limited) decision-making power
goal->decision->intent->action
there are fine-grained variable action costs and inherent entity speed. So, walking on rough terrain or uphill will take longer, but a faster entity will act more frequently
