And of course, the last bit is a collection of just the shots you want linked to a virtual album that you can export. I do all the cleanup work in the virtual album for the shots I want and then export to a folder that is the JPGs of those edited shots.

To clarify, when Evan was in marching band, I'd get a lot of similar shots across a season. So I'd create a collection and link all the similar shots from different performances, create a collection for each kid, etc. This would allow me to compare shots like you're wanting to do.

I still use Lightroom, so maybe this is unique to it, but does Google allow you to create a collection (virtual album) and link photos to it? That's not really the purpose of that function, but it's one of the ways I use it.

VW solved this one for me by never getting the updated transceiver. My 2019 was supposed to get an updated 4g/5g component since 3g want just discontinued, but the telcos killed the tech on their towers. Then COVID killed their supply chain. It can't phone home.

So...my point still stands. The Internet was not public prior to '93. The number of systems and users prior to that was multiple orders of magnitude less, and it was mostly students and researchers. As I stated in an earlier thread Tay deleted, encryption wasn't viable yet either then.

And how were you getting online? Prior to GHWB signing the bill that opened the Internet to the public in '92, the only ways on were through universities, govt., military, and related telco and computer companies.

The Internet wasn't public until '93.
