Right now I only did custom 3D shapes which are separate objects (could even be 2D) and then cast a ray from mouse position and if it collides with object which has tag "province" it displays information about it. But it would be really inefficient to making new custom maps

Although it is possible to move that concept onto Unity, but the guy in tutorial didn't really explain the code and what it's doing. I know it's making a 2D polygon based off the colors in the file and makes them separate objects, but it's not enough for me to move that onto Unity by myself (2/2)

So yesterday I've followed a tutorial on making provinces in Godot from a PNG map. The issue is that it's Godot, which I personally don't like but respect that it's open source and free, and also a good piece of software, and I would like to move that onto Unity. (1/2)
