I prefer B. A sounds a bit like an affirmation. B perhaps has a bit more going on in it..

Dreamt President Trump came to my workplace where I ended up sitting in a room on my own with him. I tried to interview him, confident I’d be able to do this in my own way. His responses were desultory however, he wasn’t really interested in talking to me.

I think the internet might be wrong about that one.

I certainly don’t think so. There might have been mention by him of his plan for a break during his questionings, but not the photo specifically.

On a separate note, imagine what McGoohan would have thought about the way we live now.

I realise now that you’re mistaking this for Homer’s Odyssey. It’s set in 1904 Dublin.

That’s not this.

It’s not a precursor to speculative fiction. At least, I’m fairly sure of this.

Photo on book cover shows a city scene with strange mix of vaguely old-looking "hats" produced by AI and modern-looking cars and vans, although the book is set in 1904.

Cover of a Kindle edition of Ulysses which for some reason is classed under "science fiction/alternative history" on Amazon. Although this scene would have been science fiction at the time the book is set.

St George flags now on that street. Getting seriously fed up of it.

That came very *close* to going in some very interesting directions. Interviewer should have risen to the challenge of β€œin what sense” he meant that maybe.

Hmm. That’s very similar to my arrangement.

Not necessarily the case at all.

Whoever wrote that should have tried travelling out of London on the train today. Not a good experience.

Franz, Duke of Bavaria is the current Jacobite heir, but he is not concerned about.

I had a philosophy tutor who was a Jacobite.

Do you mind if I use your photo in case I post about it?

It still feels very weird to me? How many people will see that sign? Also they look like their half mast.

I bet you can find much worse if you go back through my conversations.

You’re talking about case law. What you’re saying doesn’t apply to the whole of the law and they certainly can’t interpret it any old way. Laws are generally pretty un-ambiguous and there is previous case law, which they also have to conform with.

The right are attacking judges and the rule of law, for judgements they don’t like, that accord with the law. Their whole job is to apply the law.

He’s from Bristol. I don’t agree with this mural. The judges don’t make the law.

I used to avoid it pretty soon after it came out for that very reason.
