06.12.2025 04:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But yeah I started capping my power grid and I need to fix my production before I go try and add oil or starting up the pumps for that to fill the system will crash the grid.
06.12.2025 04:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh when I went from there to maximizing my iron production it wasn't bad until I started cramming in steel into the same footprint and dimensional depots.
I really need to just make separate facilities for these things. I got a foundry for iron that mixes with copper which will boost output too.
Something I realized in Satisfactory I tend to take a very kludge focused approach to problem solving which gets me past the initial problem but then I have to spend a ton of time on clean up and actual organizing.
So basically how I live then.

Sounds like something made by a drunk wizard
Me (playing Satisfactory): Okay let's take it from the top but right
Also me: youtu.be/B1wNfAAYXt4?...
Very tempting to just start over...again....just so I can take everything I've learned so far and just do it better from the start
Like there is a bunch of stuff I could have been doing better from the start
I'm trying to stick with it but sometimes you just get that urge to do it again but better
This solves some issues I was having with how to scale things as I upgraded machines so the output could scale with demand, while also letting me fix the tangle so I don't have to struggle to reach things because I accidently built stuff too close together.
05.12.2025 16:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Basically instead of one factory it's a bunch of buildings of various sizes each making one thing and feeding to another building, with all the connections going under roads I'll add in when done so the end result can make the things I need, and scale upwards one floor at a time.
05.12.2025 16:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Seriously though, I think I worked out a decent way to build little production facilities that use vertical lifts and conveyor splitters to put a set of machines on each floor and build up from there.
I am planning on making a single building per item (say a building that makes just iron ingots).
So I rebuilt my factory in Satisfactory just to get to the next milestone, but I'm realizing it's an inefficient tangle that started with a decent plan but spiraled as I kept cramming more stuff into the same footprint.
So guess who is doing another rebuild while avoiding working on oil refinement.
I think I may faintly remember that one
05.12.2025 03:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There were a lot of great combos back then for a lot of stuff but yeah, "Bring Me to Life" is locked to FFVIII in my brain instead of the Elektra movie
05.12.2025 02:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That was a pre-streaming era where you had to download AMVs made in Windows Movie Maker.
And yes, being trolled with Bible Black the Music Video was not that surprising in hindsight. Shock trolling used to be par for the course.
Now they just rage bait then play innocent.
So the land of ice and snow is definitely a land of plowing I guess.
05.12.2025 02:21 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0AMVs have made some associations in my head I find amusing:
Linkin Park - DBZ
Papa Roach - Ninja Scroll
Evanescence - FF8
"Ordinary World" - Evangelion
We don't talk about that troll one that started with "End of All Hope" with missle spamming mecha and then switches a hentai w/ Immigrant Song
The goal of a 'side hustle' is to monetize the few things you actually enjoy until you hate them enough to treat them like a job.
This drives the economy by requiring you to spend money to start a new hobby.
I think I'll go back to Warhammer next.
That's just Corax White. #Warhammer
