i’m so serious when i say that i believe a large amount of advertisements for ai are made to secretly be anti-ads on purpose by the creatives who make them. all of the apple ai ads, but a few in particular, make the main character look like a genuinely horrible person and it can’t be accidental

i don’t have much to be proud of australia for, but comedy might be our most valuable export. have you seen Chess Ham from Sam Campbell? (his youtube channel is set up to look like “McDonald’s Comedy”. he has 0 affiliation with McDonalds.

i think 🎲✂️ means “game design” but when i see it posted i read it as “dice chops” a la “getting your chops”

not to say there’s no skill involved of course. i just think it’s cool that game design is a space involving a lot of guesswork. there’s no formula you just kinda guess and check. you can get better at guessing but no matter how good you are you’ve gotta guess

game design is great because no one knows what they’re doing. you can listen to an interview with a “Good Designer” and they’ll be like “yeah i mean idk. i just kinda tried it like this and it worked”
