When we limit the number of advanced practice nurses, we limit the number of people who keep so many of us alive & healthy.
Even as a nurse, I'm also a patient and rely on nurse practitioners for my own care.
My primary care provider is a nurse practitioner, as well as my mental health provider.
So if this becomes reality on July 1, 2026... what will the future of healthcare look like for all of us?
Why It Matters
This decision will extremely limit access to federal loans and loan forgiveness programs, making it harder for advanced practice nurses to enter the field.
