Took a bit of a break from drawing, was able to come back with a tree drawing.
I found this tree standing with its rock in Cannock Chase Forest. Lots of beautiful ancient oaks still hanging around there and summertime is really beautiful in England, it’s hard not to draw it

Overall, Adore how fleshed out everything is. Loved experiencing Midgar. Recently escaped Kalm so the world has opened up. The fast paced combat system is enjoyable.

The mundane QuickTime events or tedious busywork adds friction to my experience, more than anything.
I also prefer the original music to the remixes - but I blame nostalgia / first impressions for that one.

Maybe I’m wrong - I just started Rebirth so I don’t know how much has changed. This sort of thing seems to happen often in modern media and I’m personally tired of it.

I understand the whispers are a way for the writers to telegraph their Storyline isn’t fixed. It feels a little too on the nose and breaks immersion for me. I’m typically of the mind that you make a faithful adaption, or you don’t. Avoid justifying creative decisions to your audience

Late to the game but Final Fantasy VII Remake + Rebirth are nurturing my inner child. Will replay the original after. I do have some thoughts —
