The Hippocampus is a mythical creature with the front of a horse and the back half of a fish. They've been portrayed by cultures from the Ancient Greeks to the Picts and beyond

My take here is partly based on a black-figure amphora from the 6th century BCE that currently is displayed in the Louvre

I need to make more art with autumnal vibes

One gender doesn't have a monopoly over powerful angular lines or soft curves, yet I see it often framed this way in entertainment spaces.

I know it’s due to social or cultural norms and marketing practices but describing certain art styles in a gendered way irks me. A visual language serves an artist’s design sensibilities or their creative projects constraints and goals.

Our world is cruel - so I'm inventing a kinder one. 🌱
