As some of you suggested, I got an infrared camera to try to suss out my electrical issue that the electrician wasn’t able to find.

What happened next may surprise you.

Just witnessed someone trying to fireb*mb Fletcher’s Ice Cream in NE. Saw a dude acting weird next to a parked car in front of the place. I walked by, heard a smash through my earbuds, smelled gasoline/kerosine. Turned around, snapped some photos instinctively. Thankfully they suck at molot*vs.

As a side effect, it's making it harder for victims to discuss their trauma, forcing people who have triggers to either block common and completely unrelated words or get retraumatized, and it protects abusers by making it harder to educate people.

If I may be so bold, it feels like these churches are claiming to be the real Anglican communion because the other churches within the historic communion aren’t patriarchal and bigoted enough for their liking.

This is just depressing. I’m dismayed to see such an emphasis on sola scriptura. It seems like a rejection of the Anglican “three legged stool” of scripture, tradition, and reason.

How do I live with myself?

The worst part is I still blame myself.

She’d be alive if we’d driven her home. We’d have taken a different route than the Lyft driver did.

She’d ordered us, while I was fronting, to fix the battery issue in our car. Had I done my duty, as her pet, she’d still be here.

I failed. And she died.

The wound was ripped open over a month ago (two?) and we’ve been dealing with far more grief since.

It showed us that we never really processed this tragedy.

And we need to. But we don’t have any idea how to process this and move on. How do we finally recover from that loss?

We just don’t know.

Our partner’s death in December 2023 absolutely wrecked us.

Then four months later we became homeless for nearly 7 months. We weren’t able to process our loss during that traumatic time. We never started to again.

So we’re still profoundly fucked up from her death. And we can’t keep ignoring this.

Listen. If you didn't want to be seen as the Twitter escape pod, you shouldn't have deliberately fostered a community of people so united by their contempt for arbitrary authority and love of absolute free speech that they were willing to abandon a platform they'd been using for 15 years
