A custom Magic the Gathering card. Azzle, the Ringleader of Pain. First strike, haste Azzle can't be sacrificed When Azzle enters the battlefield, each opponent makes a token copy of her. Creatures you control attack each turn if able. When a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, that player creates an envy token. The goal of Azzle is to force games to progress. I despise Commander games that go on forever because people are afraid to interact. She makes players attack each other, discuss who wants to be attacked, and rewards players for engaging by giving them envy tokens. I had a humorous goal when designing this commander. To make players actively want to be attacked, or to have players argue with each other over who has earned getting a lunch to the face more. Which I can say was achieved. Key creatures will die. Players are left open to being attacked in return. Most importantly, the person who cast Azzle is on par with everyone else. They get no extra benefit or protection from the effects. As opposed to the Goad mechanic that prevents creatures from attacking the person that cast Goad onto them.

Envy, an artifact token. Tap, sacrifice this token: Add one mana of any color to your mama pool. At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice this token. I wanted a reward that any player could desire to have, but isn't able to be stockpiled or abused. Envy tokens are basically temporary treasure tokens. Players can exchange damage to their life totals for a burst of mana on their turn. Meaning the board state progresses and players get to have more fun with their big swingy cool cards that are sitting in their hands.

It really is! No idea how a pencil feels so wrong all the time lol

A comparison of two brushes I use for Clip Studio Paint. The top one is used for linework with sketchy flair. Harder edges with less super thin parts is better for filling in with color later. When erasing with it, it leaves spots of the original color underneath like a sketchbook page you over-worked and over-erased just in one stroke. It can layer with itself, but the beginning and ends of the brush stroke is thin enough to make it feel sorta transparent. That can be used to achieve layering if need be. All on one layer with one brush! Its versatile. The bottom brush is better for painterly pieces. It erases in a smoother gradient and erases completely in the core of it. Not leaving the little spots. The edges are softer with a little aliasing to the pixels, while also being much rougher on the stroke. Allowing it to more easily cover layers below and bring it right up to the edge of a block of color. It doesn't layer but it does blend. Thats not represented in this example, but I was showing why I was sad I was thinking I was forced to use it for linework.

Art from 2024 using the better brush I had to just recreate. See how I'm able to erase some areas, leaving little dots and marks? Evidence I had drawn there. It can get real thin yet has decent coverage if need be. Its sketchy, energetic, and personable linework!

Just spent an hour remaking by main sketchy brush. Eventually had to reconstruct the pen based on my Twitch VoD's. I was DEVASTATED thinking I'd have to use the bottom pen.

Make backups of your main brushes fellow artists :)

I do not have the ears to listen to this in the way it deserves. There's so much depth!

Just had a blast against one in Pokemon Showdown. Random 'mon. Insanely close loss, and they offered to rematch. We eventually did best of 3, and while I lost I can safely say that they were the most fun I've had.

Every match was down to one miss, one play, or one prediction. Excellent!

Nothing is more satisfying than matching against someone at your exact skill level.

I did not expect so many kind folks to repost this. Thank you for spreading it around!

We've nearly reached 50% of the goal. If we reach 100% it should (in theory) be enough to float us till the 22nd. By then, we hope to have recovered from all this.
