Someone at work mentioned this last week. I thought Tesco had leased it from the council, not the other way around.
It's been closed since Feb '24... I didn't realise it was that long ago since I'd last used it 😂

This is the one I've got. It's pretty small, but provided the figures are detailed I'll be happy.

I bought myself a Dungeons & Dragons advent calendar over a month ago. No sense in leaving these things until the last minute!

They never made TftD for the Amiga as far as I'm aware.
I played UFO on an accelerated A1200 and it still chugged at times.
When I got a PC (Pentium 100), it ran so fast it was amazing!
Keep meaning to play Xenonauts as that's meant to be similar.

Love this game!
Finished it on the Amiga, and then played it on PC a while later, and was amazed at the amount of animation (smoke and fire were static on the Amiga).
Played the sequel, but never got very far with it.

Aye, lugging the tower and CRT monitor, and then trying to find somewhere to set up.
Good times.

That reminds me of carting the PC over to a friend's for some LAN gaming.

Good morning!
Nothing exciting unfortunately.
Washing, finish laying the flooring in our out building (had some work done a short while ago, and it's taking ages to finish). Then into the loft to hopefully find some paperwork I've been looking for.
Then some gaming if there's time.

I've never been bothered about water. When I was a kid I always went swimming in the sea. Couldn't dive though, and still can't!
I may have had similar dreams since, but I don't remember them. My missus remembers everything from her dreams. Me, just the two.

I was at the coast at the end of a pier and everyone was diving in to the sea. I dove in and when I tried to swim to the surface it just seemed to move further away. Woke up feeling like I should be gasping for air, but wasn't.
I don't remember most dreams. That's 1 of 2 that were most vivid.

I had this on the CPC464. Brilliant game, and had so many hidden features. I remember discovering that picking up the kitchen sink let you pick up ships! And that if you stepped through the wrong door of the orbital base, it was a long way down!
Finished the original, but not the sequel.

I have a pair of those pads, and a pair of the originals (that used to plug in to the soundcard).
Also have a Sidewinder X5 mouse and X6 keyboard. Still using the keyboard, as I like the detachable keypad. Showing it's age though.
