Well that was wayyyy more complex than anticipated but I finally managed to get a decent resizing feature

Next step would be to add the corner resizing, and that will probably require a refactor but it's solid for now !

Just made THE triangle with OpenGL and damn they weren't lying, it is not straightforward

I'm hooked so far, it's really interesting to understand how graphics are rendered at a lower level

Kind of behind the trend, but I've been trying Sifu from Sloclap lately and it's such an amazing game, it feels great to chain combo and dodges

Only downside is the aging system really pushes you to be good from the get go, I feel so bad going to the next level without achieving a no-hit run

Yeah I understand it's mostly a QoL feature since it doesn't solve anything too important memory wise unless you instantiate a lot of classes

I was just surprised since most of the languages I used usually support it

But in my case, classes should do just fine !

Really surprised #godot doesn't support structs yet, everyone seems to recommend using dictionaries instead

Issue is dictionaries really make usage of data error prone, the syntax error highlighter has no idea if the member actually exists and you gotta be careful putting in the right type

I think a big problem in the US left/right divide is that,

the right has no self-criticism, loves (their version of) america, and are willing to lie to win political power

the (online?) left kinda hates america, is preoccupied with self-criticism, and sometimes doesn't even believe in voting

This rules for a lot of reasons, but especially because it dispels the myths that A.) old games were never political and B.) games like this are just stories, they aren't "about" anything. Should serve as a reminder to anyone writing about games why we should be close reading 'em.
