In the last term, HK's "patriots-only" parliament, 130 bills were passed and the only ONE rejected was LGBT rights. Yet, 60% in the city agree with same sex marriage.

LibDems must stand firm on furthering LGBT+ rights, setting a firm example for human rights.

We can continue to play gotcha moments on the China Spy Case or get down to work on a China Reset where we treat China & Russia as a strategic bloc which presents a security threat to the for the UK and Europe.

Registered voters drop for 4th year ahead of ‘patriots-only’ legislative elections The number of registered voters has dropped for the fourth straight year ahead of the “patriots-only” legislative elections in December.

Perhaps the best indicator of public support to Hong Kong's 'election' is the vote before the elections - HK residents bothering to register to vote dropped like a stone.

Also, turnout for the first "patriots-only" election in 2021 was 30.2. Turnout in 2019 -> 71%.

The Joint National Security Committee JCNSS wrote to the Housing Minister to stop the super Chinese Embassy.

On Monday, the Security Minister claims there're many "nonsense" about the embassy plans, 🤨 we wonder if the Government Minister thinks the 22 MPs on the Security Committee are sensible?
