This Remembrance Sunday, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We must never forget them — nor can we forget the veterans and serving personnel who continue to protect our freedom.

Our Plan to Super Charge mental health services: -Mental health MOTs at key life points -A dedicated practitioner in every school -Full parity between mental and physical health care -Walk in hubs for children and young people -Triple taxes on harmful social media giants

No one should be stuck in the awful position of waiting months on end for mental health services.

It's time to supercharge mental health care in this country.

Today is World Mental Health Day — a time to reflect, raise awareness, and support wellbeing for all. This year’s theme, “Access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies”, reminds us to prioritise mental health care, especially in times of crisis.

Councillor Kathryn Thomas presented her fireworks motion last night in Full Council. There was cross-party support for the motion with councillors from all parties speaking in support.

The aim of the motion is to ensure that fireworks can be enjoyed by all residents, by
• Having 'permitted hours' when fireworks are allowed,
• Causing less disruption to residents' sleep,
• Reducing distress to vulnerable residents, pets and wildlife,
• Designation of Fireworks Control Zones, and
• Encouraging the use of silent or low-noise alternatives.

The Liberal Democrats' motion encourages the responsible use of fireworks and urges Solihull Council to work with retailers, residents, schools and community organisations to ensure that everyone can enjoy fireworks during traditional celebration periods.

I'm boycotting the state banquet to send a message to both Donald Trump and Keir Starmer that they cannot close their eyes and wish away the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Donald Trump can stop this catastrophe in Gaza and get the hostages released.

Nigel Farage and the Reform Party’s Taliban Tax means sending hundreds of millions of taxpayers' money to an oppressive regime that British soldiers fought and died to defeat.
